This program is aimed for contractors and sub-contractors in highway projects that are recipients of federal funds of $10,000.00 or more, who are required to comply with the conditions of Equal Employment Opportunities. They must maintain nondiscriminatory practices within their recruitment and selection process. Additionally, this Program encourages the partaking of women for positions related to the construction, with a set goal of 6.9% of participation. The contractors must maintain a nondiscriminatory environment free of sexual harassment.
